Most of my students (Nepali) do not realize that in the IELTS Speaking Test Fluency comes along with Coherence. It is not just about speaking fluently but also about maintaining a good structure in your speech. As most Nepali students focus too much on fluency and tend to forget the coherence part, here are few things to have in mind for this criteria are:

- Do NOT give short answers, always try to add on
- Use connectives whenever possible 
- Use markers ( well , in fact , to begin with, firstly, etc )
- Try NOT to repeat but do self-correction if necessary
- Give reasons behind whatever you say, this will help you to lengthen your speech
- In PART 2, make sure you answer the question of CUE CARD in the order given in the card. Try to answer each question with at least 4-5 sentences. This will help you speak for 2 minutes easily.
- Let the examiner STOP you, never say I am done.
