Many Nepali students do not realize that IELTS Speaking Test is evaluated under 4 specific criteria and grammar is one of them. When it comes to grammar for the IELTS Speaking Test, one must remember the term " Grammatical Range and Accuracy ". Both, diversity in sentences and accuracy are evaluated. So, producing short but correct sentences all the time does not help.

For all Nepali students sitting for the test, I would suggest keeping the below points in your mind while practicing. 

- Look out for questions that demand answers in a specific tense
EG: Did you enjoy your school days ?
- Always remember to elongate your sentences by adding joining / conditional words like although, even though, whereas, etc.
- Try to stick to a tense in PART 2 - if you get a question about past (most students do ) like " Describe a vacation that you enjoyed " then it is simple to stick to past and answer in past tense. This reduces grammatical errors.
