IELTS SPEAKING TEST IN NEPAL || IELTS SPEAKING TEST PRACTICE AND MOCK TEST FOR NEPALI STUDENTS

Most of the Nepali students manage to write good articles but when it comes to the IELTS Speaking Test, Nepali students tend to get nervous and lack confidence. Practice is indeed the key but understanding the test and its marking criteria do help. Below are some important details of the Speaking Test.

IELTS Speaking Test is a test that lasts for 11 - 14 minutes and has three parts in it:
- PART 1 ( 4-5 minutes ) 
It is a questions / answers session on very basic topics like hometown, family, hobby.

- PART 2 ( 3+ minutes )
In this part, candidate has to speak for 1-2 minutes on a given topic. Candidates are given 1 minute to make notes before they start to speak.

- PART 3 ( 4-5 minutes)
This part is a discussion and the questions asked will be related to the topic of Part 2 but generalized. 

As explained in the video, IELTS Speaking Test is marked under below four criteria  :

1. Fluency and Coherence
2. Grammatical Range and Accuracy
3. Lexical Resources
4. Pronunciation
